When Stepmom Came to Stay

You moved away a few months ago, to get some space. You love your stepmom, but that's kinda the problem really. You've grown too close and it's started to cause some... issues for you. So you thought you'd put some distance in between the two of you and it would all sort itself out. I get to your house and I'm ecstatic to see you. I try to hide how bitter I am that I'm the last person to be invited, and that you've barely spoken to me in all this time, because I'm happy for you. And so proud of you, stepson. I ask you to give me a tour and you show me around, ending up in your bedroom. I'm confused at first, I didn't realise it was a one bed apartment. You're not expecting us to share a bed are you? You're taken by surprise at the suggestion and immediately correct her - you'll take the couch and she can have your bed. Things are a little awkward, but you suppose that's to be expected.
