A couple, already burdened by overdue rent and unemployment, finds themselves in deeper trouble when the girl's strict stepfather discovers their reckless behavior in his house. Angry to evict them, he insists they take responsibility for their actions. With eviction looming, the young woman is torn between her jobless boyfriend and the man who holds the key to their accommodation.
