This morning, my instructor caught me getting far too excited during the session, my hands wandering where they definitely should not have been. This afternoon, he searches the house for me, only to discover I have broken the most important rule and slipped into the indoor pool all by myself. His stern expression says everything as I surface, my eyes wide with guilt, my voice trembling as I beg for forgiveness. He reluctantly agrees to continue the lesson, teaching me buoyancy control and elegant fin pivots, hovering weightlessly beneath the surface. I perform beautifully, a model student, but as the session ends, I plead for just one more quick swim. He grants it, and the moment I slip beneath the water, my mischievous hands find their way back to my body, exploring the thrilling sensation of being weightless and wicked. When I finally resurface, breathless and glowing, his scolding is immediate and sharp. I have been very, very naughty, and I know there will be consequences.
