I was at the riverbank, and the breeze felt so nice that I just started pedaling. For some reason, I felt a little braver than usual today. Instead of my usual cycling gear, I was wearing something a bit embarrassing, and as I pedaled, the wind caressed my skin, making my heart race for some reason. My silhouette reflected on the river’s surface looked different than usual, so I instinctively started riding while filming with my phone. It was actually kind of fun to see runners I passed glance away for a moment—it made me want to speed up even more. I stopped, went down to the riverbank, and filmed myself walking while pushing my bike, but my face was clearly red from a mix of embarrassment and a sense of freedom. I didn’t want anyone to see this side of me, but I feel like you’d understand. If you watch this all the way through, maybe tomorrow’s me will change, too.
